Good News

At Jobnet the Good News project continues. Though the security situation has relegated the reports we’ve grown accustomed to see in the media regarding layoffs, cutbacks, slowdowns, recession and crisis to the sidelines, they’re still being published and causing concern. However, there’s also good news, and we at Jobnet are continuing to provide a forum for employers to proffer optimism. The following survey presents optimistic quotes from employers and the picture that emerges is encouraging: products are being sold, projects are being launched and recruitment is continuing.


Sivan Design
Shay Charuti, vice president of marketing and sales at Sivan Design:

“Even during times when the market is not at its best, here at Sivan Design we’re still working away and preparing for the next phase.

Sivan Design is reaching out to new markets and recruiting employees for projects in Israel and abroad.
At the Autodesk University exhibition held in December in Las Vegas, Sivan Design launched the last word in 3D simulation technology for road planning and drew extensive interest. As a result a decision has been made to recruit marketing, sales and technical support personnel for the US market.
Also, Sivan Design continues to receive projects from around the world and is looking for sales managers for countries like India, Kenya, Uganda and Romania.

Last month we started to present and assimilate a new middleware project and we’re looking for software architects with development capabilities to study the product and assimilate it at the client site. We also set up a new line of operations at the company, Quality Assurance, especially in the field of ERP – Oracle Applications and CRM. We’re looking for software testers to join this line of work.
